Prepare to apply for our Vacation program by finding where your skills fit and familiarising yourself with how we hire.

All applications will be reviewed and candidates who meet our eligibility criteria will progress to the online assessments stage of the recruitment process.

Please note: we only accept one application per person, but you’ll have the chance to select two teams that you’re interested in which most closely aligns with your skills, passions and interests.

This is the chance where we get to know you more!

You’ll complete 3 online assessments that help us understand your behaviours, skills and emotional intelligence.

The online assessment should take around 40 minutes to complete. You’ll have 48 hours to submit it once it arrives in your inbox.

Digital Interview
You’ll be required to complete a digital interview where you’ll be asked two questions to help us understand you a little more.

Team Preference
Immediately after your digital interview, you'll have the chance to select two team preferences based on the business area you've applied for. Your preference should be based on what teams most closely aligns with your skills, passions and interests. Explore available teams here.

The digital interview and team preferences should take around 10 minutes to complete. You’ll have 48 hours to submit it once it arrives in your inbox

Morning Session: Case Study
As a part of a group, you’ll complete a case study assessment mirroring the kind of work you may be doing here.

Afternoon Session: Interview
The final step in your application journey is an individual interview with a senior and junior team member. It’s our chance to get to know you — and for you to get to know your future team. Interviews are held in a relaxed, café‑style environment, and if you need any reasonable adjustments, please let us know and we’re happy to accommodate.

Congrats - you made it!

When you’re invited to join us, you’ll receive a verbal offer followed by a written offer. That'll have all the details on your remuneration, benefits, start date (generally June for the winter vacation program and December for the summer vacation program) and much more.

To be eligible for our Vacation Program you’ll need to:

Be in your second last (penultimate) year of an undergraduate or postgraduate (completing your degree in 2027)

Have full-time working rights within Australia at the commencement of the program

If you’re not an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or have Permanent Residency in Australia, you'll need to provide the following:

Yes! We encourage you to reapply if you were not successful in the previous recruitment cycle.

No. You can only submit one application per cycle.

In your application, you’ll choose one business area and one location. Within that business area, you can select two team preferences that best match your skills and interests. You can also note any other business areas or locations you’re open to, and we’ll keep these in mind during the process

Please note: some business areas only offer student opportunities in certain locations. For example, Technology may only be available in Sydney and Melbourne, not in Perth. 

When you’re invited to our Assessment Centre, we’ll confirm the team you’ll be interviewing with based on your preferences. If we believe you may be a stronger match for another team, a member of our team will get in touch to discuss this with you.

Vacationer Program, we’ll assess you against the PwC Professional — our global framework that defines the mindsets and behaviours we expect from all our people. We’re looking for vacationers who are curious, adaptable, motivated to learn, and who show they can collaborate effectively to solve problems with insight and integrity.

As a Trainee, you'll embark on a two-year journey of combined work and study with us. You'll join us to work four days a week with a full time salary and your fifth day will be dedicated to your part time studies for two years. During your semester breaks, you'll work five days per week. After the two-year Trainee Program, you’ll return to full-time study and complete your degree.

Meanwhile, the Vacation Program is short development program over your university break. It runs full-time for 7 weeks over summer break or 4 weeks over the winter break.

Both the Trainee and Vacation Programs offer an opportunity to fast track and secure a spot in our Graduate Program in the same team.
