Trainee Program

As a Trainee, you'll embark on a two-year journey of combined work and study with PwC. You'll join us full-time (with 20% of your time dedicated to study) while you study part-time. You'll then take a break from full-time work to complete your degree!

Our Trainee program provides real career experience - offering mentoring, training and networking opportunities. At PwC, you'll work alongside industry leaders who are experts in their field and passionate about their work. With our firm's vast array of projects, clients and practices, there is an opportunity to learn and grow in any area you choose.

As a trainee, you'll combine your university studies with work experience to build the perfect foundation for your career, all while receiving professional and financial support in a full-time paid role. 20% of your working time will be protected and dedicated to your studies so you can complete your degree alongside real career experience. You'll study eight subjects over the two-year program (equivalent to one year of full-time study) before returning to full-time uni to complete the eight remaining subjects once the program finishes. 

After the program, Trainees may be offered a Graduate position with the firm upon degree completion.

Applications open 12 August. Prepare to apply for our Trainee program by finding where your skills fit and familiarising yourself with how we hire.

We'll be assessing applications immediately and progressing candidates who meet the program eligibility criteria to the online assessment and digital interview. All applications will be reviewed.

Please note: We only accept one application per person, but you’ll have the chance to select two business areas that you are interested in and that most closely aligns with your skills, passions and interests. 
Digital Interview This is the stage where we get to know you better and you to learn a little more about yourself! 

Your digital interview is your chance to bring your application to life. You'll be asked questions that will help us get to know you better and understand why you're interested in creating a career with us.
Assessment Centre
This is where you get to put your problem solving skills to the test! Broken into two parts, you’ll show us how you work and how your skills align with your preferred PwC team.

Part One: Case Study
As a part of a group, you’ll complete a case study assessment mirroring the kind of work you may be doing at PwC.
Part Two: Interview
The last step on your application journey is an individual interview with a Partner from the business area you’re interested in. This is our chance to learn more about you, and your chance to learn more about your future team!
