Work with us

We invite candidates from diverse educational backgrounds and experiences to apply for our Elite Athlete program. To qualify, you should: 

  • Be pursuing an undergraduate or post-graduate degree (you can apply in any year)
  • Hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or Permanent Residency in Australia 
  • Compete at the state or national level for a sporting organization (SSO or NSO)

Program information

The program runs over 12 weeks from December to March each year and includes work experience where you will: 
  • Grow your skills through one-on-one coaching and mentoring
  • Undertake challenging client work and engagements with potentially broad social impacts
  • Attend networking events 
  • Expand your professional and personal networks with like-minded peers
  • Expand your career potential with a globally respected organisation 
  • Connect in with the PwC Elite Athlete community 
  • Compensation is pro-rated for a commitment of 3 days per week over a 12-week period

All applications will be reviewed and candidates who meet our eligibility criteria will progress to the online assessments stage of the recruitment process.
 
Please note we only accept one application per person, but you’ll have the chance to select two business areas that you’re interested in which most closely aligns with your skills, passions and interests.

This is the chance where we get to know you more! 

You’ll be required to complete a series of online assessments that measure your behaviours and cognitive skills. You have 48 hours to complete this and shouldn’t take longer than half an hour of your time. 
Digital Interview  
You’ll be required to complete a digital interview where you’ll be asked two questions to help us understand you a little more. You'll have 48 hours to complete this and shouldn’t take longer than ten minutes.

Business Area Preference  
Immediately after your digital interview, you'll have the chance to select your business area preferences based on the location you've applied for. Your preference should be based on what teams most closely aligns with your skills, passions and interests. Explore available teams here.

Morning Session: Case Study 
As a part of a group, you’ll complete a case study assessment mirroring the kind of work you may be doing here. 
 

Afternoon Session: Interview 
The last step on your application journey is an individual interview with a senior and junior colleague from the team member you’re interviewing for. This is our chance to learn more about you, and your chance to learn more about your future team. 
Congrats - you made it! 
 
When you’re invited to join us, you’ll receive a verbal offer followed by a written offer. 
 
That will have all the details on your remuneration, benefits, start date (generally January or February the following year) and much more.
