The Insights and Analytics - Defence team draws critical insights for our clients from existing sources of Defence data and related datasets from other organisations. We empower organisations to effectively manage their capability by providing them with the information they need to make better decisions.

 

As a member of the team, your daily contribution will show up through analysis of business requirements, data integration of key defence data sources and data analytics to inform integral decision making.

 

You’ll apply your skills in data visualisation, data analysis, data wrangling, data engineering and stakeholder management to work on a range of projects that cover areas such as developing automated ETL pipelines and creating data visualisations to answer key business questions.

 

Learning becomes the key to success in an industry that’s constantly evolving. Working as part of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to gain experience across several software platforms like SQL, GIT, SSIS, PowerBI, various scripting languages and analytics packages such as SAS, Python and R. 
 

Alongside the software exposure, Insight Analytics offers several other learning opportunities, including working in an AGILE framework and having an opportunity to attain Scrum Master certification. There are also offerings to develop stakeholder management skills, work with data related to defence platforms and learn from a team with extensive data engineering, data visualisation and data analytics experience.
