Camera Surveillance Policy

Is camera surveillance (CCTV) used on PwC Australia premises?

To assist with ensuring the safety of our people, and the security of our assets and information, PwC Australia and building management monitor and record activities using closed circuit television (CCTV).
Building management use CCTV to monitor and record public areas (e.g. car parks, lifts, lobbies, emergency stairs and surrounding area) of the buildings in which our premises are located.
PwC Australia has CCTV cameras located in common areas such as people floors, client collaboration floors, forensic labs, AUiT comms and server rooms, lift, lobbies, foyers and corridors on PwC Australia floors.
CCTV cameras used within the PwC Australia tenancy are clearly visible, and are identified by signage.

When does the camera surveillance operate?

Both base building and PwC on premise CCTV operate on a continuous basis.

Who is able to view or access camera surveillance (CCTV)?

CCTV footage from tenancy and base building cameras from time to time may be viewed by or disclosed to authorised PwC Australia staff, police or building security services, and other third parties in connection with PwC Australia’s business. PwC adhere to privacy protocols and state government privacy legislations with relation to the collection of and sharing of CCTV footage.
